PS Kenya Responds

The goal of PS Kenya’s HIV Programme is to use evidence to develop interventions that contribute to the reduction of HIV incidence. For more than 20 years, PS Kenya has worked to prevent HIV infection and remains the leader in implementing innovative and evidence-based HIV prevention programs in Kenya. In 2014, PSI prevented an estimated 221,000 HIV infections

PS Kenya works closely with the Kenya Government and other partners to address national HIV priorities to contribute to the reduction of HIV incidence in Kenya. Using social marketing and social franchising, we strengthen the public and private sector’s ability to provide important HIV and STI products and services to the populations most vulnerable to HIV infection.

The HIV program supports one of the world’s largest Condom Social Marketing programs, and is closely supported by Social and Behavior Change Communication. HIV testing and counselling, and voluntary male circumcision are also important components of our program.
