Dr. Margaret Njenga is a medical doctor and business leader currently working as the Chief Executive Officer of Population Services Kenya. She excels in leading teams to deliver impactful social enterprise initiatives and health development programs to expand healthcare access for underserved populations.

She manages high-level coordination and relationships with public sector entities, development partners, private partners and other NGOs, demonstrating her exceptional leadership and expertise in health systems and strategic management.

Dr. Njenga has experience working in the public, private and non-governmental sectors and has served on several boards. With 17 years’ experience she is committed to expanding equitable healthcare access, private sector engagement, advancing locally led sustainable solutions, and fostering strong partnerships that drive lasting impact.

She is an Alumni of Harvard Business School, Strathmore Business School and the University of Nairobi. She regularly contributes thought leadership on health equity, market systems development, and the future of community-driven health in Africa.
