
Sylvia Wamuhu is a seasoned health systems expert with over 20 years of experience leading impactful health interventions across Kenya. Her expertise spans health systems strengthening, private sector engagement and health market development. She currently serves as the Director of New Business Development and Private Sector Engagement at PS Kenya.
Throughout her career, Sylvia has successfully led numerous donor-funded programs, including serving as Chief of Party for the USAID Private Sector Engagement (PSE) Program and as Director for the UKAID-funded Delivering Sustainable and Equitable Increases in Family Planning (DESIP) program—one of Kenya’s largest family planning investments. She has also held senior leadership roles at PSI/PS Kenya, including Director of Health Systems Strengthening, Director of Franchise and Partnerships, and Director of Sales and Distribution.
A passionate advocate for women and girls, Sylvia is deeply committed to empowering them to realize their full potential through equitable access to health and economic opportunities.
She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Strategic management from the University of Nairobi.
