If 2025 had a soundtrack, it would be bold, collaborative, and deeply rooted in community impact.
This was the year PS Kenya didn’t just deliver programs we shifted systems, strengthened partnerships, and proved once again that when it comes to building sustainable health solutions, we are where impact meets execution.
Here’s what that looked like:
Track 1: Systems That Protect Women and Girls
Through the Accelerate Program, PS Kenya worked alongside county leadership to strengthen sexual reproductive health and rights and gender-based violence systems that actually respond when it matters. From launching protection pathways to supporting survivors to reclaim their health, dignity, and futures, this work delivered real protection, not just policy.
Five years on, the results speak clearly: stronger coordination, better reporting, improved service delivery, and county systems that are now better equipped to sustain these gains beyond project timelines.
Track 2: Girls at the Center, Always
Our A360 program earned national recognition for its work empowering adolescent girls with choice and confidence; because when girls are supported, communities shift. That same commitment carried through our self-care and private sector engagement work, where tens of thousands of women and young people accessed family planning services delivered with dignity, respect, and informed choice.
Track 3: Community Health, Where Impact Is Felt First
In malaria-endemic counties, PS Kenya strengthened community case management through trained Community Health Promoters who tested hundreds of thousands of people and treated over 200,000 malaria cases; bringing life-saving care closer to households.
Our TB program work followed the same philosophy: find cases early, reduce stigma, strengthen adherence, and ensure care reaches people where they live. The result? Earlier diagnosis, better outcomes, and stronger community trust in the health system.
Track 4: Markets That Work for Health
In 2025, our Social Enterprise proved that sustainability and impact can and should go hand in hand. With over 115% cost recovery, expanded product offerings, and a nationwide distribution network reaching tens of thousands of outlets, PS Kenya ensured that essential health products were not only available, but affordable and reliable.
Strategic partnerships strengthened our supply chain, reduced stockouts, and positioned our social enterprise as a critical pillar of Kenya’s health ecosystem.
Track 5: Choice, Confidence, and Care, Delivered at Scale
We kicked off 2025 reflecting on six years of progress under the DESIP Programme, where more than 3.6 million people gained the freedom to make informed reproductive health choices. The close of DESIP didn’t mark an ending; it marked a strong handover of systems, lessons, and momentum to counties ready to carry the work forward.
Track 6: Leadership Beyond Borders
From global conferences like the International Conference on Family Planning to national policy tables, PS Kenya showed up, sharing lessons, shaping conversations, and demonstrating what locally rooted, systems-driven impact looks like. Across every space, one thing remained consistent: our work is credible because it works on the ground.
Track 7: Investing in Girls, Beyond Health
In 2025, PS Kenya expanded its impact beyond service delivery with the launch of the Well-Being Movement; a growing initiative committed to keeping girls in school and on track to achieve their ambitions. Through targeted fundraising and direct support, we’re backing girls who have the drive to succeed but face barriers that too often stand in the way. Because education is health. Opportunity is dignity. And when girls stay in school, entire communities move forward.
2025 was the year data met dignity, partnerships met performance, and community impact met scale.
Next year, PS Kenya is building on stronger county ownership, deeper public–private collaboration, expanded community platforms, and market solutions that last. We’re scaling what works, deepening what matters, and staying grounded in the communities that trust us.
To our partners: thank you for backing impact that delivers, because PS Kenya doesn’t just implement programs; we build systems that keep working long after the funding cycle ends.
