Health is the cornerstone of a thriving society, yet Kenya faces significant health challenges. According to the World Health Organization, Kenya’s healthy life expectancy improved from 47.2 years in 2000 to 58.2 years in 2021. Despite this progress, preventable diseases like Malaria, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB), diarrhea, and malnutrition continue to claim lives. Limited access to quality healthcare services, particularly in rural areas, further exacerbates these challenges, making it difficult for families to access the care they need to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. At PS Kenya, we believe that every Kenyan deserves the opportunity to live a long and healthy life. That is why we are dedicated to accelerating positive health outcomes through innovative, sustainable, and impactful solutions.

Understanding the pressing health challenges facing our nation, PS Kenya has implemented targeted interventions to address them. Our Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) programs work to reduce maternal and child mortality by promoting family planning, skilled birth attendance, and immunization. In the fight against HIV/AIDS, we raise awareness, encourage testing, and support those living with the virus to ensure they receive the care they need
We co-create solutions with the communities we serve by utilizing Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC), ensuring that our interventions address the personal and social issues that impede healthy behaviors. Our work is guided by a set of core values that keep us focused, effective, and impactful. Efficiency drives us to maximize resources so that we can reach as many Kenyans as possible. Through empowerment, we educate and empower communities with the knowledge and tools they need to take charge of their health. We are results-oriented, setting measurable goals and rigorously tracking our progress to ensure that our programs are making a real difference. Integrity is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that our operations remain transparent and accountable. We embrace innovation, continuously adopting new technologies and methodologies to enhance our impact. Collaboration is key to our success, by working with the Ministry of Health, county governments, private healthcare providers, and community-based organizations, we are able to amplify our reach and effectiveness.
The impact of our work is evident in the lives of the millions of Kenyans we have reached across all 47 counties. From the mother in Samburu who now has access to prenatal care, to the young man in Kisumu who received HIV counseling and testing, PS Kenya programs have created opportunities for healthier, brighter futures. With our new strategic plan for 2024-2028, we remain committed to enhancing health service delivery, strengthening partnerships, expanding access to essential health products, nurturing a culture of excellence within our team, and improving operational effectiveness.
Health is not just about the absence of illness; it is the foundation upon which individuals build their dreams and communities thrive. At PS Kenya, we are honored to play a role in strengthening this foundation, ensuring that every Kenyan has the opportunity to lead a healthy, fulfilling life.
